Philip Ives is an entrepreneurial technologist focused on consumer applications. Throughout his career he has focused on delivering innovative, mass-appeal consumer-facing applications at companies like Comcast, QVC, Traffic.com, Sivoo and most recently Ladies Who Launch.
As CTO of Ladies Who Launch, Phil was responsible for the technical development and operation of their Web site, media network, and social network of over 10,000 women entrepreneurs. Mr. Ives developed Sivoo.com as an idea with the founder from true garage status all the way to a flagship product mentioned in the Philadelphia Inquirer and on business networks like CNBC. Phil designed and architected Sivoo’s video delivery platform, application architecture, and one of the first in-stream video advertising technologies.
Prior to working at Sivoo, Mr. Ives developed the first interactive TV shopping application on WebTV at QVC, Games and Applications for Cable set-top boxes, and an online ticketing application for Comcast-Spectacor. Mr. Ives started IvesDigital concentrating on interactive TV and streaming media applications. He graduated with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Drexel University.
